CognitiveTPG announced today the appointment of Charles “Jay” Elwood to the position of Director of International Sales. Jay will be responsible for building and growing CognitiveTPG’s international sales channel through a network of channel partners across Europe, Latin America, and the Asia Pacific region.

CognitiveTPG introduces its line of Kiosk printers – the K798 and K799. Unique to the kiosk printer market, the K798/K799 features a self sharpening rotary ceramic auto-cutter knife with a minimum service life of 2.3 million knife cuts, which is 50% longer then many existing offerings. Combined with a 200 kilometers (7.8 million inches) printhead, these kiosk printers deliver unsurpassed performance and reliability.

CognitiveTPG released its latest line of thermal barcode label printers – the EZ-LP, a 4 inch wide direct thermal printer. The EZ-LP printer offers the perfect alternative to replace or upgrade legacy desktop label printer installations.

CognitiveTPG announces the addition of JavaPOS (Java for Point of Sale) drivers to its installation CD for A798 and A799 receipt printers. The company's support for JavaPOS allows users with Java based applications on Windows and Linux based operating systems to network with its printers, further enhancing CognitiveTPG’s offerings and value to the marketplace.
